Default The Laughing Cow Creamy Spicy Pepper Jack Cheese

I bought a carton of this today as it was on sale and thought it would be
a good time to try it.

Yes, it was creamy and easily spread on a cracker. But good golly that
stuff is HOT!!! I was afraid to breathe through my mouth in fear of
igniting the kitchen curtains. (Bruce, you can stop reading right now.)
Thank goodness I had just bought a half gallon of milk and a small glass
of it tamed the fire.

Now I've got 7 more wedges of that stuff to consume but a glass of milk
will be nearby when I do scarf it down. I don't think this flavor will
find its' way into my shopping cart again.

I don't buy Pepper Jack cheese very often and always regret it when I do.
Last time I made machos and mixed a little of it in with plain cheese and it
was fine.

Laughing Cow is too processed for me. I like pepper jack, mainly for
quesadillas but also for snacking.

That sounds like some good cheese! I have some Dubliner cheese wedges that I got from Costco for dirt cheap. There's like 18 wedges in there. It's a process cheese product that tastes like a combination of cheddar and parmesan cheese. They would go great with crackers but I've been making quesadillas with it. For breakfast this morning, I'll be filling a tortilla with scrambled eggs and the Dubliner cheese. That should be epic!

This was my first ever eating this brand and surprised how fiery it is.
I've eaten pepper jack several hundred times but this one was a blow your
head off flavor.

I buy pepper jack cheese all the time but I'm not a fan of spicy hot.
I buy Tops Markets pepper Jack cheese and it's barely peppery.
Actually I've not found any pepper jack cheese that's peppery hot.
I've found pepper jack cheese is more about the flavor of mild bell
pepper.
