This to call attention to something that happened. It was one female talking to another. "Oh! I thought you were talking to some dude!" This said to me by my gardener after I hung up the phone and told him I had been talking to a female friend. He meant it to mean "male". It usually means "male" but can be used for females as well as can "bruh" which is the newer version of "bro", meaning brother or friend who is as close to you as a brother would be. And then there is "like". As in, "I was like going to the store..." Not sure how that came about but it's annoying and confusing to foreigners. |

OTOH, there's no need to do that with an induction range. The heat control is so fine that it's ridiculous. It's so precise that it can be used for sous vide. OTOH, for folks that need extra help with the concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izM2nGAp0Vo ==== You can use it for sous vide???? That is amazing!! |

Grin, come to think of it, not heard it locally but I have in the past in other places. I lived in western SC for a long time and it was common there. Kinda like us'uns (plural of us, sometimes spelled us'ins' and correct is to say 'we'). |

In this case, it would be like saying 'very friendly'. Dude Ranch you have to watch for because the meaning can be very slippery today. Can be as innocent as a boys ranch (camping but with cabins) to a 'house of ill repute' (often with males catering to other males). |

Like 'willyknockers' or 'willyknockered' (probably head-spinning is best translation or 'confused'). That one I trace to South Carolina mountain folk. With the advent of mass TV, such terms have largely gone by the wayside and seem 'fake' now, but they were real live talk when I was growing up. |

That one is for both types. "Absorbs and diffuses heat evenly for greater energy efficiency; eliminates hot pan and pot handles; safe for use on electric, gas, and glass stovetops" |
