<groan>...

On a sad note, my beautiful Annie is on her last legs now. Her liver
is failing and she is badly jaundiced. I chose not to have her put
down at the vets, she's not in actual pain but feels unwell of course.
Her 18th birthday isn't far away but I doubt she will make it that far

I am so sorry to hear about your wee Annie!!! If she is not in pain, I
am sure you and she would appreciate any more time you have together.

Good luck that you manage some more time together ...

We fight hard here to get humans the right to die, just as we spare
our pets. My last cat had kidney failure and at first I brought her
home, then I paid extra to have the vet come here and do the merciful
thing. Please don't leave Annie to suffer too long, it's a nasty job,
but we owe them an easy out.

It's very cruel to bring an animal home once the Vet pronounces them
terminal... when the miserable pain starts there'll be a problem
finding a Vet.

I'm sorry but I think the kindest thing you could have done is let her go.

Best wishes for her and for you. So sad to watch a family
member die.

Sniff her stinky paws one last time. That is what I remember most about my ILY.
Stinky paws? Yes. Not a bad stink. Fun stink if that makes sense.
