Happy Leap Day! I had a bunch of errands to run today, including going
to Publix for groceries. I really didn't feel like cooking when I got home. I plan for such contingencies. Tonight it's store bought pizza. Newman's Own brand white pizza (with spinach). I added some extra 6-cheese Italian shredded cheese blend on top. And a sprinkling of Italian seasoning. The pizza is in the oven, directly on the rack now. I especially like the crispy thin crust. It's fine for a complete meal as long as I add some mild cheddar and a chopped hard boiled egg. Anyway, I have some potatoes to use up before they go bad. Was thinking about potato/onion soup but your scalloped with brocolli sound good too. Hmmm - decisions, decisions. |

As you well know. ![]() and I love just being able to pop it in the oven, right on the rack, and have it come out with a nice crispy crust. No need for me to prepare dough. I've made many a pizza dough in my time, from thin to thick crust. It's so much easier to just pop this Newman's Own white pizza in the oven. I always add a little more cheese. I love the spinach and cheese combo. Jill |

Had to have Don mix it since Charlotte is off with her life in the Navy now. Came out good! I don't make sweets often, just not our type of thing, but now and again, it's good to make a batch of scratch cookies. 2C all purpose flour 1C brown sugar 2 sticks chopped butter 1/2c white sugar 1ts baking powder 1ts salt 12oz chocolate chips 2 eggs OPT: 1-2ts vanilla extract Oven to 375 and bake 11-13 minutes You are supposed to cream all but the flour and chocolate chips together then add the flour but I just dumped it all in and worked fine. |

The huge Wild Mike's is a good one. I like the occasional Tombstone too. Also that cheap, retangular Party Pack one for a quick snack. I've had plans to make my own again soon but keep not making one. Either a pepperoni or a white one with broccoli this next time. |
