Default Chickpeas idea

Read this in today's newspaper and it caught my interest.
------------------------------------------------------------
Roasted chickpeas stand in for croutons in salad.

Preheat oven to 425F. In an oven-proof skillet, toss in
one 15oz can of drained chickpeas with 1 TBS olive oil.
Season with salt and pepper.

Roast, shaking pan occasionally, until crispy, 20-25 minutes.

Speaking of canned chickpea water, does anyone here use the
water from a can of tuna in water for anything?

When I had a cat, he loved it poured over dry food. No cat
now so I just drain it in the sink. Kinda seems like a
waste though. :-/ It must be good for something.

I use boiled egg water to top off my fish tank. It makes my fishes all happy. Some of them will even die of happiness!

I like roasted chickpeas but not on a salad.
