Default Pork pie recipe

Hello Angels: I have no idea who is the original owner of this recipe
but I do know that my Grandparents made it. My Grandparents were born
in Canada. Some internet friends have asked me if it can be made
using other ground meats. Does anyone know if it can?

Okay here is a good pork pie recipe:
Use 1.5 LBS ground pork. =A0 Put 3 cups of water in a large pan on the
stove. =A0 Add one chopped onion & salt & pepper. =A0 Bring to a boil
and boil for 5 minutes. =A0 Add ground pork, ground cloves, & boil for
about 20 to 25 minutes. =A0 Remove from heat. =A0 Add 5 slices cubed
bread & stir. =A0 Add 5 to 10 saltine crackers crushed up then stir. =A0
Add bread crumbs to thicken and stir again. =A0 Put a pie crust in a
deep dish pie pan. =A0 Put mix in pie pan then put another crust on top.
=A0 Bake at 350 for about an hour.

Please feel free to try it out. Have a nice sunny day. Amanda

Your recipe says to add the ground pork and ground cloves to the onion, salt
and pepper, but that is the only place ground cloves are mentioned. Was it a
mistake?

Hello: That is the only cloves that we use in the pie. The amount
of cloves depends on if you like a strong clove taste or a mild clove
taste. Amanda
