I needed to renew my drivers licence. I went into town to the eye
doctor to give me a vision test, even without my cataract surgery I
passed with flying colors, I'm good for eight more years. They won't
do my cataract surgery until all this virus crap is over with. I was
smart to have a privete doctor do the eye exam, the state would
probably turn me down, was worth the $65.

It's a offtopic post that many of us here, me included, make. He did
mention in previous posts the postponement of his cataract surgery because
of the COVID-19 virus.

Michigan driver licenses must be renewed every four years. Every other
renewal, we must go to the DMV and have our eyes tested there.

How do you know that the state would turn you down? Did you bribe your doctor? Don't you have any confidence in your DMV's testing equipment? How do you think that makes the equipment feel? Did you ever think about that?
