I've been cutting my own hair for years. However, I have really long
hair so I'm really just trimming off a couple of inches to get rid of
the split ends. I use something called a Crea-clip. It has a bubble
level in the center so you can tell when it's positioned correctly, then
just cut along the clip. It wouldn't work for short hair, though.

For men (if they still have hair) ... Just use some electric
clippers and do a quick buzz cut. Clippers come with guides to set
the hair length as you like. The shorter you cut, the less often
needed.

For women, try shorter hair. Some women look very nice with short
hair, but some, not so much, especially if their hair is very thin
and stringy.

I go to the beauty parlor in town, Lynn has been cutting my hair for
20 years. She does a great job and still charges me the same $15, but
I still give her $20.

I have short hair. My husband cut it yesterday. He used the clipper with
the 1" guide. It kind of looks like he used the weedwhacker, but I don't
much care.

There's nothing wrong with that if she wants it. Of course she didn't

I worked with a woman who had a beautifully shaped head. A GI cut
looked fantastic on her. Not everyone has the skull shape to carry it off.

There are some women who can pull it off and it looks great on them. It
takes guts. I remember being in a barbershop once, many years ago
because I have only had two real haircuts in the last 25 years. She was
thinking about getting it done. She had the kind of face it would have
worked for and I was tempted to tell her to go for it, but it was one of
the rare times I opted to keep my opinion to myself. I was also tempted
to stick around to see how it turned out.

On one of those Dr shows a couple of years ago, they featured a young
woman who had lost all her hair, so she wore a wig. She was quite pretty
in the wig. Then she took it off and she was breathtakingly beautiful!!

I don't do pictures. Just imagine an albino hedgehog sitting on top
