Yesterday Hitler was in charge. We've had to
defeat Germany twice in World Wars with their
'Germany will rule the world' ideas.

Go take a ****ing history lesson, or STFU about
things you know so little about.

No, really? What do you think about Australia and Europe? Did you
think they don't have all colours and creeds? Really? Do you know
anything about what goes on in other countries?

First you pretend that I said you don't have all kinds of people in
the US and then you say I'm wrong about that. But I never said it.

Yes, so is Australia and so are many countries. You only think the US
is speshial because you don't know anything about other countries than
your own.

I have something against some people in this newsgroup. Many of them
happen to be Americans. And then there's Dave Smith, of course

Ah, you did that on your own. Is that the kind of history they teach

There is no country on the planet that is as
homogeneous as the USA, none.

You wrote, and I quote:

"Liberal, socialist, communist, green, ***,
alternative, sustainable. All the same: enemies of the good ole USA"

So..everyone that lives here is the enemy to the'good ole USA'
according to you.

Do you ever read what you post? Sheesh.

A. You don't know that because you don't know anything about other
countries.
B. "Homogeneous" means "the same". Is that what you mean or do you
mean the opposite? Trying to weed through your ignorance here.

I didn't say they don't live there. They live there, but they're
enemies of the good ole USA in the eyes of right-wing Americans, such
as you, Ed, Joan, Gary, Greg Sorrow, cshenkie, Snag, Sheldon and all
the other dinosaurs here.

Do you ever read what I post before you attack me? Sheesh.

I'll match my knowledge of history with yours. The US sat out most of
WWI. They were only in it for the last year of a 5 year conflict. They
also sat out more than two years of WWII. They did help to turn the
tide, but they had proved themselves to be the sort of friends you
can't really count on to do the right thing.

You do this same thing everytime, Dave, you and
I both know Hitler would have won without the
USA finally being bombed by the Japs, Hitler's
pals, and deciding to show both the Germans and
Japs what American Military might looks like.

Plus the Italians had Mussolini with Hitler
up his ass like a puppet.

I'm guessing you're French, right? Don't get
me started on those cowardly asshats.

Well long winded Dave is not American, I'm

Yep, and you keep pulling the old Europeans would be speaking German if
it weren't for the US.

The problem is that the US didn't get involved when it started. They
were happy to sit back and let the Europeans duke it out. They were only
willing to provide some war materials for the Allies to use in the
protection of American interests. They got involve only after the
Japanese attacked and Germany declared war on them.

That is not a very accurate guess. Seems to me that if it weren't for
the French Americans would be speaking the King's English. You didn't
mind their help during the revolution. The US thought it would be a
good idea for France to lose Vietnam, but they stepped in and got mired
in 10 years of warfare before running away. They didn't do any better
than the French had.

Even Americans, these days, agree that MacArthur was a nut case. I

That's the truth, you squat to **** French ****, and
don't forget about the 6600 Americans that died on
D-Day. No good deed goes unpunished.

I'm not particularly interested in American history. There are many
more interesting things.

Oh, gosh. It it time to rehash WWII again already? I had that on
my calendar for next month.

Next month it'll be time for "If it wasn't for us, you'd all be
goose-stepping". "Us" includes the author of that message, who's
probably the most hopeless couch potato the US has ever produced.

Hindsight is always 20-20.
Nobody here lived those times as an adult.
Decisions were made then that seemed the best
solution at the time. Easy for us to critisize now.

Wow, wow, wow. Things are more interesting like spending your time here
criticizing Americans. I bet everything you see has a brown haze from

Smithsonian Channel has been running a lot of colorized film from the
Pacific and European wars. It is easy to sit at your computer today and
say what you think should have been done, but watching the reality is
very disturbing. This is footage of people made to dig a grave and
showing them shot and killed in place as they stood in it.

The arm chair generals are usually just speaking out of ignorance and
have never see real war, especially as it was fought in WWII. IMO, the
were The Greatest Generation.

It's a shame the ships didn't have the balls to get close enough to
show to drop them DD tanks instead of dumping them too far out and most
of them sank. Americans only accounted for half the force. The British
and Canadians reached their objective.

Interesting. My friend lives just 20 minutes away from Bothell in Edmonds.
Theyre not restricted from going to the store more often than once every 2
weeks.

We are weathering the virus lockdowns temporarily down here in Florida. I
stocked up for the three of us plus the dog for what I thought would be
about 2 weeks worth of meals. Its been 7 weeks now and although Ive had
to get more milk, eggs, and fresh produce, we are still using up my
original supply of meat and dry goods. The heat really tempers appetites,
and sitting at home all day means we are nibbling more and hungry for large
meals less. Im certainly enjoying the extra free time however to
experiment more in the kitchen.

Please, these are confusing facts for Americans. They did it on their
own and they did it because they're such good people. They're heroes
and they're the only heroes. Now stop confusing them.
