That's a silly thing to say. You think I've never had anyone else live
with me (male or female)? I've had roommates. They bought their own food.

My impression, based on years of reading your posts, is even when you
were married and your daughter lived there you still didn't bother to
keep much food on hand.

I never thought people could be judged on how much food they kept on
hand. The things I learn from RFC.

*Quickly checking our pantry before anybody else does*

My impression has always been that she keeps a lot of *inappropriate*
food on hand.

Remember when she didn't have room in her freezer for anything because
it was full of ice cream bars? Or maybe it was popsicles, not sure.

There's a guy on the e-bicycle group I belong to and he lives in Bothell.
Not one single time has he said a word about shopping only once every two
weeks. Nor has he said anything about cell phone tracking or helicopter
surveillance or the lack of fresh vegetables there in the gulag of Washington
state. I guess that's because he knows when to get to the grocery store for
a good selection.

Ice cream bars are inappropriate? I should have known this half a
century ago!

It doesn't really matter what the excuse was at the time. If confronted
with what her story was at the time the story will change.

Here we go again. Why do you buy food based on online ratings? I saw
exactly the same product (Michilena's) you're talking about when
perusing the frozen food aisle today. Yep, it looks like cheap crappy
tasting mac & cheese:

https://www.michelinas.com/cheeseburger-mac

Your gardener didn't make you buy this. No one made you buy this.

GROSS! Ick! If I'd ever make mac-n-cheese I would get macaroni and cheese, look up a basic recipe and wing it! I remember once at a friend's house making mac-n-cheese and I had a small piece of Havarti cheese to add to it and it was really great! Havarti is a very high fat cheese and commensurately very delicious!

I'm from Edmonds. They sure are. It applies to the whole state. But
seemingly the only other person I know who heard the press conference where
Inslee said this is my friend Jim. He repeated back to me what he heard and
it was exactly what I heard.

The mandate applies to the whole state. It started out when he was in a
press conference. He said he went to the store and was shocked to see people
his age and up in the store. He said none of them should be in there. Why he
was in there...dunno. But he then decreed that people 65 and over should not
leave their house for any reason. They were to send a younger person to get
things for them.

He then went on to add there were too many people out and about and the rest
of us should only make one trip to the store every two weeks and stay in our
own neighborhood.

In subsequent press conferences, he has brought up the two week thing so
many times that Dori Monson keeps playing a sound bite of it.

I don't blame people for not listening to his press conferences. Most people
I know, don't. He's hard to listen to and talks in circles. I usually have
my radio on during he day so I do often hear him.

There's a guy on the e-bicycle group I belong to and he lives in Bothell.
Not one single time has he said a word about shopping only once every two
weeks. Nor has he said anything about cell phone tracking or helicopter
surveillance or the lack of fresh vegetables there in the gulag of
Washington
state. I guess that's because he knows when to get to the grocery store for
a good selection.

---

And he probably doesn't listen to Coast To Coast AM. He's just blissfully
unaware like most people.

I did not say there was a lack of fresh vegetables in Bothell. I don't know
what foods are in Bothell. I rarely shop there. Much better prices
elsewhere.

OK. First of all, if people over 65 can't leave the house for any
reason *and if they don't have a younger person to send on errands*,
then how the hell are seniors supposed to eat

Also, who the **** is Dori Monson?

Lol...!!!

Julie, as per her usual, is lying...I'd yell, "LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!", but there are not enuf pants in the WHOLE world to replace Julie's burnt panties...from the way she natters on you'd think she lives in Murmansk or Yellowknife or the Marshall Islands or some other remote place...

A quick goog of Julie's city (pop. over 30,000, plus many thousands work in the city's hi - tech and other businesses) reveals a Safeway, a Fred Meyer, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Albertson's, many nice ethnic markets, and on and ON and ON...and at all price points...my town is over twice Bothell's size and has nowhere *near* Bothell's varied grocery shopping opportunities, she lives in a food shopping paradise - FACT!:

And here we go again....again!
You say "it looks like cheap crappy tasting mac & cheese."
But you have absolutely no idea what it tastes like.
As I said, I love that stuff. Nice and cheesy and those
bits of burger have some amazing flavor. That's the key
flavor in it.

If the ingredient list doesn't scare you, you should buy
a box sometime and taste it. Only costs a dollar.
If you have to spit it out, just send the leftovers to:
1) starving children in India
or
2) Gary in Virginia Beach

Next time I go to Food Lion, I plan to buy a box or two.
I'll use their ingredient list to get an idea of the
burger seasoning then maybe make my own without all the
extra ingredients that scares Brude.

I do wish Julie would explain more about her gardener.
The guy lives in her back house/shed but also has free
access to her house.

He eats up all her food and even steals her toilet paper.
All this in exchange for gardening on her small property?

And he keeps goats somewhere else. What's up with the goats?

Wth is going on there?

Not good diplomacy, pal. You only say something like that
right before you start a war.

> Trump gets everything wrong. Everything.

We all know that everything that goes wrong is
Trumps fault. No need to keep repeating it.

> Any Americans want to be injected with disinfectant?

Do you remember that recently Sheldon said that he sent
a letter to the White House advising Trump that
Crystal Palace can be the cure for this.

That might be why he said that.

In real life though, Sheldon might be on to something there.
Think about it. If alcohol can kill the virus, may be that
people that drink (and have alcohol in their blood) might
be a bit more resistent to it.

Sadly, the Vietnam war (their civil war)
was actually a war between the USA and
the Soviet Union. Or more distincly a
war about communism vs the alternate.
Many more countries participated in that too.

Those Vietnamese kids (north and south)
were only pawns in that chess game.

Our people had to fight a war with one hand tied
behind there backs and that's why it dragged on
so long with so many loss of lives on both sides.

IMO, if we declare war on some country, we should tell
our military, "Go win this," and let them do what they
were trained to do. Don't limit what they can do.
End it quick.

And you can even learn a lesson from the Nazi's and
their early Blitzkriegs. Attack with full force all at
once and overwhelm your enemy.

That's how our Special Forces are trained.

That was a damned shame, since it was their country.

You didn't have to fight it at all. The French had drawn the Viet Minh
into open battle in the hope of destroying them with superior fire
power. When they realized they had bitten off more than they could chew
they asked the US for help in the form of air support. The US refused.
They weren't interested in extending France's colonial hold on Indo
China, even though they had been an ally against the Japanese.

The US was involved with the talks to end the civil war and was a party
to the deal that arranged to divide the country, established a
demilitarized zone and to hold a plebiscite on reunification. When the
time came for the vote the corrupt regime in the south realized that the
North was going to win, so they refused to hold it, and the US backed them.

It was an odd situation. The country that likes to think of itself as
the great democracy backed a corrupt regime to deny the people that
democratic vote, and all the while claiming that they were fighting
against an enemy of democracy.

That's the way I figure it. War is dirty, but if you are going to go to
war you have to go in with a plan to win and a plan to get out. The
idea of surgical strikes sounds good, but there is always collateral
damage, and that just ****es off the people who would have been
neutral, and they tend to support their home team.

> And you can even learn a lesson from the Nazi's and
> their early Blitzkriegs. Attack with full force all at

The more important lesson was the one imposed on Germany by the Allies
and their insistence on unconditional surrender.

> That's how our Special Forces are trained.

Not at all. The Special Forces are sent in to attack specific targets,
usually involving specialized equipment and tactics. They work as
advisors to assist local allies fight their common enemy. In the early
stages of the Afghanistan fiasco Army Rangers were sent in with bags
full of money and bargained with local war lords to buy their support.
They offered them money, and if they couldn't get a deal they would
resort to Plan B and bomb the *******s.

I suggest you read he
https://coronavirus.wa.gov/spread-fa...mean-stay-home

and he
https://coronavirus.wa.gov/you-and-your-family#grocery
How can I stay safe when going grocery shopping?
You can take several steps you can take before, during and after you
go grocery shopping to keep yourself and others safe.
Before you go
Only make needed trips. Don't go to the store if you're sick, and be
extra cautious if you or a loved one is more likely to get sick from
COVID-19.
Wash your hands.
Consider ordering groceries online for pick up or delivery.
Check for special hours. Many stories offer special shopping hours for
people over 60, pregnant people, and those with medical conditions.
At the store
Wear a cloth face covering that covers your nose and mouth.
Use hand sanitizer or an antiseptic wipe to clean the handles of a
grocery cart or basket.
Keep your distance of at least six feet between you and others, even
in the checkout line.
Cover your coughs and sneezes.
Don't touch your face.
Save some for your neighbors. Only buy what you need so there will be
enough for everyone.
When you get home
Wash your hands.
Practice food safety. Don't disinfect your groceries. Wash your fruit
and vegetables as you normally would.

As I said, check your state government COVID-19 resource pages and
stop repeating some radio newsreader with an urge to show off.

It was a ridiculous war by a misbehaving US. All because your
presidents were more concerned with re-election than with human life,
whether American or Vietnamese. It was mankind at its worst.

I almost picked up a package of those the other day. Except the only
ones the (yes, Family Dollar) store had were the pizza ones. The ham &

It doesn't make sense to most people. I may be wrong but I get the
impression he doesn't live in the back house/shed anymore. She
complained about his girlfriend not liking her, the girlfriend he
invited into HER house. He contributes next to nothing. How much
gardening can there possibly be? He eats her food, steals things out of
her garage, breaks the glass in her oven door... Is she *that* afraid
of living alone?

He should at least provide goat milk if he has a nanny goat. Or some
nice goat meat (cabrito) for dinner. j/k, she'd never eat goat.

It doesn't matter who Dori Monson is but for your edification, Doris,
he's a liberal radio personality who is spouting off a lot of bullshit.

The governor never said people over 65 can't leave the house to buy
essential items (food). The governor may be urging them not to if they
can send someone else to the store, sure. There is no mandate in
Bothell that says people of any age are not allowed to shop for food.

She's been provided links to several sites to help her figure this out.
