I understand that its hard to believe that there are people like me in
the World. I dont believe anything that the liberal/union press spins,
and I saw the press conference. He was spitballing, and his comments were
directed to the professionals, not the press.
Remember, President Trump is not a politician. He will say yes or no to a
direct question, and he will blue-sky a thought. A politician cant or
won't do that by their very nature. I find him extraordinarily refreshing.
Most here are horrified. I get it.

Most? There's only a handful of Americans who are critical of Trump
here. Of course, it's off topic, but still. The supporters seem to be
the majority here. And many of them are also the sadistic vultures of
this group. Not you, though.

So you don't mind that Trump lies. Blatantly. For the whole world to
see. You think that's fine and refreshing. Ok then.

Thanks, Julie! My political positions are generally and vociferously

Unpopular? Lots of Americans here are right-wing Trump supporters.
Half your country voted for him. Maybe you're less special than you
think?

If a 73-year-old man can consider injecting disinfectant, even while
spitballing, there's something wrong with him.

Only 55.7% of the voters actually came out to vote.
Clinton got more popular votes than Trump, but Electoral College numbers
gave it to Trump.

Nominee Donald Trump Hillary Clinton
Party Republican Democratic
Home state New York New York
Running mate Mike Pence Tim Kaine
Electoral vote 304[a] 227[a]
States carried 30 + ME-02 20 + DC
Popular vote 62,984,828 65,853,514

Well, it's your system and that system said Trump won.

Maybe because simple, uneducated people like a "strong man". Look at
Erdogan. More intelligent people can see that he's a fascist dictator
but the Turks love him.

I have to say that I find it mind boggling. I realize that there is a
very strong anti Hillary component to it. I just can't understand how
anyone could hate Hillary so much that they would vote for that buffoon.
