Default Tortilla bowl use

Someone gave me a package of soft cheese tortilla bowls. How do you use
them? I'd like to put some beans in them - canned or stew or soup.

I've never had them Ken so I won't guess.
I did look it up with Google just now and
there are many links, mostly made by Old El Paso.

Just Google "soft cheese tortilla bowls" and you'll
see what I just saw.

Tell us later what you did and how they turned out.
A stew filling sounds best to me.

Weird. I never saw Ken's post. I've never seen the cheese bowls. I got the
regular ones years ago. I put taco type fillings in them. Angela and I tried
to eat them. They were tough, thick, stretchy and bland. We dumped the
filling on a plate, ate that,, then threw all of the bowls out. They were
that bad.

I would try one. I am interested in KenK's review after he
makes something with them.

Whenever I eat stuffed peppers, I always put one in a serving
bowl
then cut it all up until the green pepper pieces are bite-size.

I've always thought that, rather than stuff then cook them whole
in the oven, you could probably cut them up first and cook
all of them in a casserole dish.

The colored peppers are very nice. Unfortunately, they cost about 2.5X the price of green peppers. Beats me why that is.

I suppose it does but it has a dark inside. Here's a Swedish singer that was washed up at age 15. She's looks all perky and cheerful but she's singing about parents that are derelict in their parental duties/skills. It sounds all cheerful but at its core, it's pretty dark and scathing and cuts to the bone. Well, that's my interpretation of the song anyway.

It was some kind of Swedish sponge cake. Oddly enough, it had no butter or milk in it. I like my sponge cake more but that just natural. The Swedes like their cake with a different texture than regular folks. I thought she might have made it with almond flour but that's not the case.

The green ones are less sweet is all. When I make stuffed peppers I
slice them lengthwise stem to stern so they are like canoes... they
are easier to stuff more fully and don't flop over while cooking. I
like to stuff peppers with the same mix I use for meat loaf, no cheapo
rice and minimal bread crumbs. I prefer green bell peppers for
cooking, the other colors raw in salads.
The riper ones cost more because there's more loss in the field
waiting for them to ripen, also more loss during shipping.
