I have one of those for the heating, it's great, I haven't thought about the heating since it was installed. Sometimes I would forget to turn it down at night and wake about 2 a.m. feeling stifled. Mine has several settings, differences for weekends, or going out to work etc. They are great. |

That's the main reason we like it. The humidity right now is something like 82%. It's been hot here this week, right around 32 F every day, but the humidity bottoms out below 50%. Usually when it's that hot the humidity is around 70%. > I prefer central heating like we > had in the Netherlands. Or just the natural temperature if it's not > under 19C/66F and not above 34C/93F. We have central heating, of course, because it gets so cold in the winter. It's below 66 F half the year. Cindy Hamilton |

My old thermostat has an on and off switch. That's all I need. I prefer fresh air and only use heat or ac as needed for a very short time in extreme weather. All goes off when I leave for work or go to sleep at night. In my temperate area, neither is needed constantly. |

Also, since your wife won't allow you to cook onions and she will be gone until Monday, now is the time to cook a giant batch and freeze portions so you can still enjoy and she won't have to smell them cooking. |

I'm not sure what kind of bread that is. Fact is, if you want to make a burger it doesn't have to be round. You can make it in any shape you want, just like you can make a rectangular pizza. An oval burger would have fit better. That one didn't fit the bread at all, it got lost. And waaaay too many carmelized onions piled on that plate. JMHO, of course. Jill |

I have become accustomed to cooler temperatures here - but I don't enjoy -35C:-) |

Yes, you need decent heating then. We have a fireplace, which is nice when it's really cold, but it's a bit of a hassle compared to pressing a button. |

Get rid of Trump and assume your prominent position on the world stage again. There's a lot to criticise about the US, but I'd rather have the US than crime boss Putin or fascist Xi-Ping as the dominant dude. |

LOL Yes, I got a surprise too when I got into a modern car for the first time in ages. When my car was made, people didn't have bums yet. |
