Take advantage of what? Do you expect me to take up golf? I take as much advantage of it as I did my apartment back in Cordova. I sit outside when it's not too hot. I watch the birds. I read books, watch movies, television and I cook. I'm no different now than I was before I moved here. I had a nice patio at my apartment, too. I fed the birds and sat outside and read. They showed them taking classes about just basic survival in a country they would be stationed in. One show has 3 or 4 women in a group standing behind a barn. The man was an instructor and she showed them how to wring a chickens neck, pluck it, etc. They were all screaming, throwing their hands up in horror, covering their eyes, etc. The instructor was telling them this is what they have to do if they want to eat as there would be no grocery stores nearby. When the women were screaming and squirming my dad got tickled as he knew that's what you have to do if you want fresh chicken as he was a country boy. |

I've actually responded with some quite helpful and polite information which you choose to forget. I remember when you first found this group, Gary. You were all "Jill! We have so much in common!" Why? Because I recommended the book 'Micro' and you liked it? I am who I am. I'm honest and forthright and have opinions which I don't mask behind sweetness and light and a bunch of 'Kumbayah' crap. You seemed surprised when I posted that link to pictures of my grandparents' houses, side by side. Did you think I was engaging in hyperbole when I said my dad married the girl next door? I don't lie and I don't need to make up BS stories. Look what you're doing with this post. You're pointing out what you perceive to be my flaws. How ironic! Jill |
