First phase of lunch yesterday

and about to be repeated in a few minutes.

Traditional French Crêpes with Lemon & Sugar

3 crêpes buttered
sprinkle each with sugar then
squeese lemon juice on it.

Roll up then enjoy.

(I finally remembered to buy a few lemons for this yesterday)

Wow. Nice.

I had a grilled cheese sandwich today.

Yesterday it was vegetable soup.

My lunch today was egg salad on saltine crackers with a glass of milk.

Sugar and lemon on crepes... sorry, not something I'd enjoy. I prefer
savoury crepes. Glad you like them, though. First phase of lunch is
dessert crepes?

I was thinking about a croque monsieur (grilled cheese with thinly
sliced ham on griddled sourdough) but I decided to make quiche instead.

I made my wife a "melty cheese" today. This bread https://www.brownberry.com/breads/fa.../natural-wheat
5 year old Cheddar and butter. I've been making those for her for at least 25 years.

And as for the pubescent-teen ****er comment, if I only *could*, baby!
Nothing's quite as sweet as 14, 15, 16, 17 YO girlflesh! YUM! I know,
I had it, and she loved every single lick and stroke, and came
repeatedly, numerous times. And you make this sound like a BAD thing?

Before I discovered 5-18yr-old Canadian cheddar, I used to bring back a
large piece of real farmhouse Cheddar from my UK visits. I wondered why
it disappeared so quickly and found that my teen-aged sons were making
cheese melts after school.

I bet you threw a hissy fit.

I bought a garlic ahi plate from L&L Drive In. Extra garlic please!

If that's fast food (judging by the aluminium), I like Hawaiian fast
food! Especially with extra garlic.

Julie, is that you? ;)

I first had them at a nice restaurant 100 years ago
(from their dessert menu). They plated 3 of them,
then garnished with a light sprinkle of powdered
sugar. Not really necessary but it makes a nicer
presentation. For me at home, I didn't bother with that.

I'd been thinking about them for a couple of weeks so
that's what sounded appealing at the moment. One glance
at the two lemons on the counter did it.

You could try putting several spoonfuls of powdered sugar on them and then add the lemon juice. That's what I always do.

A wise choice when eating french craps.

I usually avoid them.
