I'm trying this today on the indirect charcoal grill,
with some apple wood chunks for the smoke.

This 0815bbq German guy has some cool ideas
for grilling.

I'll try to remember to take a pic of it when it's
done.

They look really good. I'd like to try it by the recipe is in Celsius
and my smoker is Fahrenheit so it won't work.

They turned out pretty good, that's not grease
they're in but the sauce which is ketsup, vinegar,
brown sugar, water, salt, and chili powder.

It might be better with thighs next time, I
cooked it to 165F and the breast meat is a bit dry.

Heh, that guy is fairly popular and in lots of his
videos he speaks German. He comes up with some
unique stuff.

You are aware, I am sure, that you can buy a new BBQ calibrated in Celsius?

Mike

Why...it's the Krauts that should "calibrate" to us, we Yanks have been paying for their defense costs for 75 years now...

I´d eat that in a heartbeat, but you cheated. I´d pretty much eat
anything bacon wrapped ;)

True, I've been hankering for some spicy candied bacon, may
have to make some next weekend.

I'll look into that but getting metric fuel for it could be a PITA.
