Man, we've all heard about the loss of sense of smell, but this is a trip. I can't smell coffee, lavender, chocolate, and I even took a big whiff of the jug of Cholula. Nothing. I may use this in interesting ways, eating things that I would ordinarily not eat.

I periodically lose my sense of smell. Indeed, it is an interesting experience. Sometimes it's useful, sometimes it's not.

This would be a good time to tour a sewage treatment plant.

I don't wait to shower until I notice myself being smelly.

I wonder what the tacos, beans, avocado and beer is going to taste like. Time to find out.

Maybe now is the time to try that Swedish canned fermented fish. The
smell is enough to make most normal people puke.

My guess is that a jug of T-bird will taste as good as a bottle of 1807 Chateau LaFontane DuRiche. Live it up!

Doctor's Visit

Doctor: "What seems to be the problem today?"
Patient: "Doc, I've got the farts. I mean I fart all the time,"
The Doctor nods, "Hmm."
Patient: "My farts do not stink and you can't hear them. It's just that I fart all the time. Look, we've been talking here for about 10 minutes and I've farted five times."
"Hmm," says the Doctor, as he picks up his pad and writes out a prescription.

Brothel

Man goes to a brothel. The Madam is out of women but, since the guy is Polish she thinks she can get away with a blow up doll and he will never know the difference. Being a bit nervous because she has never tried this one before, The Madam waits outside the door. The Polack comes out in five minutes.. "How was it?", says the Madam. "I don't know," says the Pollack, "I bit her on the tit and she farted and flew out the window!"

I just love playground comebacks! "I´m rubber, you´re glue. Everything
you say bounces off me and sticks to you"! Lotta deep thought there.
From another thread where I didn´t respond, explain communism. A State
Department official explained it once in a seminar I attended as a fantastic
idea that works poorly with people, but ants are great at it.
Thoughts?

I agree, it never works. But your Democrats aren't communists. Your
"left wing" media aren't communist. European countries aren't
communist. Communism means, for instance, that there's no private
ownership of any means of production. Do you see anybody advocate that
anywhere?

Nobody advocates it openly. It has already been done behind the scenes. The
better part of the means of production has already been driven overseas by
government regulation. Now the police are under attack. Remember,
"undermine and destroy existing institutions"?
It´s "deja vu all over again" in only one hundred years. And this time,
it´s us. Festering rats in the other party are looking for revenge against
Trump voters, and instead of being thrown in prison for sedition, are given a
voice in the media. WTF!

Is there something in your water? Have you ever been tested for

It's the same insanity as 100 years ago in Germany. Leo's mindset isn't unusual.
They thought that Trump was their savior, their Hitler, but then he lost. It must be
the communists.

What part of what? You snipped all you rambling. I'll put it back:

>Nobody advocates it openly. It has already been done behind the scenes.

Behind the scenes people are advocating a ban on private ownership of
means of production? Who? Where? Nonsense.

>The better part of the means of production has already been driven overseas by

Manufacturing moving to countries with cheap wages is another issue
entirely.

Who's "us"? Racist police deserve to be under attack. That doesn't
mean we should do away with all police. Heaven forfend!

Democrats don't deserve a voice in the media and should be put in
prison? They're festering rats? Are you on medication that you're not

[1] What part of over regulating industries out of existence in the U.S.
escapes you. It´s already done.

See [1]
> Who's "us"? Racist police deserve to be under attack.

That´s correct. All major city police forces are integrated here. That
happened long ago. Are there aboriginal police within a hundred miles of
where you live? If not, you´re a racist. If so, have you given an aborigine
special consideration today? If not, you´re a racist.

Only the ones who seek revenge against Trump voters and those who may follow
their lead. The media is, at best, irresponsible to give them any voice at
all. Fevered fools appear in many guises. You appear to be one of them. Go to
the sink and get some cold water. Pour it on your head. Feel better?
O.K., I´m out. I have to stop discussing politics here, and I really will
try starting now. I´ll still call "you" names for other reasons, and
you give me a reason with every post.

No, the means of production has been driven overseas because workers there
are willing to work for peanuts. The average auto worker in China makes about
$35,000 per year. Where are you going to find someone in the U.S. who will do
that?

Considering that Trump has committed a string of financial crimes, do you
think it is wrong for millions of Americans to want to "LOCK HIM UP!"?

So ..... the Democrats have a secret communist agenda, but they never
discuss it publicly??

Heaven forbid we have regulations to protect the environment, workers
and to protect the economy from corrupt business practices? The right
played a major role in shipping industry overseas when they pushed for
trade deals that allowed North American businesses to move their plants
overseas where they were able to abuse the environment and hire people
to work for peanuts and then have the goods shipped back here without
tariffs so they could sold for less and yield a much larger profit.

Trumps detractors are guilty of sedition? What about all the Trumpsters
who are protesting the election results and threatening violence? There
was an election. The results are in. Trump lost. He has gone to the
courts and his actions have been repeatedly dismissed because there has
been no substance to any of the allegations.

Heaven forbid the reason the majority of American voters reject Trump is
that he is a lying asshole. Holy crap. The guy opens his mouth and
lies come spewing out and his followers believe him. It is even sadder
that so many of them know that he is lying but are so opposed to
normalcy that they support him anyway.

Arrgh. I was looking at the average for all automotive jobs, including sales.

I stand corrected.

We want jobs in America, good paying jobs. Oh, we also want low, low
prices too.

Look around your house. Have lots of nice stuff? Would you have that
if it was priced on US wages with good benefits?

My guess is that a jug of T-bird will taste as good as a bottle of 1807
Chateau LaFontane DuRiche. Live it up!

No, cheaper consumer goods are now produced in Asia and other places, they have much lower production costs for these items than we do...apparel, electronics, and many other things are *vastly* cheaper for US consumers, and that is a good thing. Even the poorest in the US can afford big - screen TV's, microwaves, computers, air conditioners, decent clothing, cellphones, better food, appliances, OTC medications...this adds to an increase in our overall standard of living. What was luxury is now for everyone...the price of a nice big - screen TV, adjusted for inflation is __5%__ of what it was in 1990...air conditioning is __95%__ cheaper than in 1955, in inflation - adjusted dollars...

And US production workers are *far* more efficient than in 1950, 1970 or even 1990...many fewer hands are needed to produce higher - value items...and those production workers are still well - paid, according to their skills level...

We still have a huge manufacturing base, but we make many "high added - value" products. Quick wiki:

"The largest manufacturing industries in the United States by revenue include petroleum, steel, automobiles, aerospace, telecommunications, chemicals, electronics, food processing, consumer goods, lumber, and mining. A large portion of U.S. industrial output, the United States leads the world in airplane manufacturing. American companies such as Boeing, Cessna, Lockheed Martin, and General Dynamics produce a vast majority of the world's civilian and military aircraft in factories stretching across the United States..."

Thunderbird, a cheap, fortified wine.

Although it looks like Gallo has recently rehabilitated the brand.

It's fascinating to see how crazy your ideas are. I hope you don't
represent the 70 million who voted for Trump. If that were the case,
your country would be in deep shit.
