Or tackos, depending upon ones pronunciation. I used canned Rosarita refried
beans for the side. Otherwise, a pound of ground beef, a package of McCormick´s Original Taco Seasoning, some cheese, lettuce, tomato and oil fried Mission White Taco Shells. Not pretty. Quick, easy and pretty good. I even used a chipped plate for authenticity. <https://postimg.cc/TyRSvRwW> leo |

Or is the "natural flavor" such a gross ingredient that they don't want to specify any further? "Water, organic corn masa, organic rice flour, cultured rice flour, organic vinegar, malic acid, gums (organic guar gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan)" Organic rice flour? Hippie food? I use the fat from frying pork chops for refried beans, and I use canned black beans with the liquid and mash until the liquid reduces leaving the mashed beans at the right consistancy. I can't imagine using Crisco. I have a one pound can of Crisco in the fridge, used to grease muffin tins for corn muffins... a one pound tin of Crisco lasts me about ten years. |
