Default Hair Cut

I got an appointnet for a haircut tomorrow. I'm suprised as it's a
big holiday time, but I was fit in at 11 AM. My haircut takes no more
than 15 minutes. I get a GI Boot Camp haircut, super short with sheep
shears. Grows back fast, too fast.

If you always get a militaru haircut, buy a set of electric clippers, attach
the #4 guard and do it yourself. Two haircuts will pay for the set!

Sheep get sheared. I cut my own hair. If you can't manage that, get
your wife to cut it. A short haircut isn't difficult.

My wife used to complain about my haircuts until I started doing it
myself. I give myself a haircut every2-3 weeks and it takes about 5
minutes. I have paid for two haircuts in the last 25-30 years. The last
one was for my mother's memorial service 13 years ago.

My husband and I are still cutting my hair in the "attacked by a weedwacker"
style. I've always hated having my hair cut and the pandemic provides
a perfect excuse to avoid it.

I have clippers and have tried but it doesn't turn out very well, I
can't get it tapered correctly. My haircut costs $14, three times a
year, costs $20 with the tip. And I have no mess to clean up with
hair all over.

What exactly do professional qualifications. We know someone who is a

I have a "Pandemic haircut." Longest hair I've had in 40 years or so.

If paying for a woman to cut my hair was the only way I could get a
woman to touch me, I'd do that.

I ask you, and everyone else here to respect that John has come to
understand the reason why he can no longer be hired in health care.
Whatever anyone here feels about him, most do wish him well, even me.
If John needs a job, he has skills. He can crank out donuts, and he can
make candy. His chocolate covered cherries, when made with quality
chocolate, are spectacular, and his chocolate covered toffee is like a
gourmet version of a Heath bar. People like good candy.

So, why is kuthchocolates.com such a complete failure?

You sure can't go there and buy and pay for any candy.

Started, never finished and wrote to potential customers on the site you
couldn't figure out how to use the software to finish it.

My son is looking for a house. I strongly advised him not to buy one in one of
those tiny municipalities like Bel Nor. They have very little sales tax base. We're
going to look at a house tomorrow, maybe two. Right now, if one can afford the
down payment, and can get the mortgage loan, owning is cheaper than renting
in the medium or long term. Interest rates are stupid low right now.

Good luck with the house hunting. It's probably a smart move. OTOH, you probably should probably make sure your son will be able to handle the payments. My understanding is that the predatory lending practices and conditions that brought about the mortgage crisis of 2007 are coming around again.

> Good luck with the house hunting. It's probably a smart move. OTOH, you probably should probably make sure your son will be able to handle the payments. My understanding is that the predatory lending practices and conditions that brought about the mortgage crisis of 2007 are coming around again.

There won't be any predatory lending. My wife and I will be co-borrowers, and we
have great credit, backed by assets like the equity in our houses. My financial
mistakes have been few and small. I'm not much on maximizing earnings from
employment, but I've made the best of it by buying low and holding. In some cases
it has been pure luck, but when the brass ring is within easy reach, grab it. I've been,
perhaps, too risk averse, but when the brass ring was right there, I usually plucked
it.

That extends to the most minor purchases. Today I bought two nice porterhouse
steaks for less than $9.

Whatever we invest in the future of our son is much less than funding college.
Using our equity to guarantee a mortgage is small potatoes, and his land
investment business looks very promising for great returns.

We need to get our roof done this spring. It'll probably cost about $10K for
architectural shingles. No clay roofs on my block.

Doesn't someone (buyer or seller) pay for a house inspection before closing?

Not always. On our latest (and last) house, our seller might have, but I doubt it.
We did our own inspection, although we had a buddy of my husband's who's a
stonemason come over and look at the exterior.

I've never heard of a lender giving a loan w/o an inspection.

Buyer does. Required here, may be optional elswhere but I know my loan
company had to have a copy.

Apparently not in Michigan. They send someone out to assess that it's
worth at least as much as the mortgage, but that's it. The assessor does
a walk-around and I guess as long as everything looks reasonably ok,
the mortgage gets written.

Many lenders are now requiring it. When I bought my previous houses
(1966, 1981) it was not a popular thing like it is now.

A few people here had their new home inspected before the warranty
expired. I had a very fussy builder and the house is perfect. They did
require an owner or owner's rep to do a walk through to be sure
everything as as ordered. I did not see the inside of my house until I
signed papers and got the keys.

Mick Jagger recently bought a house for his girlfriend about 5 miles
from us. He did not visit it either and it cost much more than mine.
