Your place is filthy and disheveled...you'd be wise to hire an outfit that does "deep - house cleaning"

Besides, I see nothing that is "Christmas" - oriented, why are you posting such rubbish...

Imagine being in that room, eating Jill's 1985 microwaved eggs, then consider yourself
lucky that you're not.

I dig that speaker you're using as a table - it's got that 50's jet age vibe.

That's not junk! That happens to be some of the finest ANALOG audio equipment ever made! MacIntosh Pre and MacIntosh 105wpc and Crown 200wpc Power amps, Klipsch La Scala and Heresy and Bozak Urban speakers and Dayton 15" subs running off a 1000W Dayton Plate amp! It would blow your little iPhone right off the planet!

It's certainly not junk, and 25 years ago, an argument could be made that vintage hi-fi
had advantages other than nostalgia. I'm contending that neither you, nor Greg, could
discern the difference between the sound quality of your vintage hi-fi and modern hi-fi.
I'm sure that I couldn't.

Oh I sure can! You can't get bass that sounds worth a shit out of those dinky little ear buds like you can out of two 15" Subwoofer cones driven by a quality amp!

I know! :-)

There's nothing good about those antiques, especially lousy expensive
turntables that today are considered rubberband driven garbage. All
those components you are braging about are worthless crap. You think
you were born in the stereo age, NOT! You know absolutely nothing of
serious sound systems.... like the morons who think electric geetars
are musical instruments... who think rap is music.

Old Klipsch speakers are perhaps some of the best speakers ever designed and built! Paul W. Klipsch was a genius of speaker design.

Macintosh are among the best amplifiers ever! They are what powered the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair contest of Bob Heil here in STL.

Publicly admiring all your overpriced and frivolous possessions on
Christmas Day ... kinda sad. Hopefully you're realizing that your
2-year long Christmas is over and you need start thinking straight,
practical, and within your means.

All I see in that picture is a bunch of folding chairs and a couple of
bar stools against the wall and what looks like a *potato* sitting next
to a bottle of water on a table. Some old speakers and drums you think
make you look cool.

It wouldn't be Christmas if he couldn't show everyone all the things he
found on Craigslist, things other people were looking to discard. Look
at those lovely folding chairs. Sure wish I had some of those in my house.

I just now looked, looks like the kind of trash put to the curb from
an eviction.

At ten years old I'd be embarrassed to take that trash to the local
junkie... back then junkie = junkyard.... usually operated by an old
geezer and a mean dog who'd take a bite out of kootchie but who'd be
my best bud. First thing I'd do with the junk money was to buy a box
of Milk Bone... I'll bet no well trained police dog could resist.

Pic label was incorrect. That pic is the rear of my Listening Room and those two speakers are my Klipsch Heresies. And those drums are my Djembes, which I play very well! The "potato" is a wood shelled shaker.

Popeye, buy a quart jar of vaseline and head over to Jill's place.
Screw her a few days, then go back to NY and drink a few gallons of
crystal palace. Then the whole world will be OK.

Those djembes need to be refurbed and retuned.

If I were one of the guys here who was a loser with women, I'd buy a device.
Gotta be careful though.

She could prepare for the visit.

This set is suitable for both beginners, and the more advanced.
Might do wonders for her constipation.

Sorry Jill but can't help it. YOU are the one that adds your own name to
almost every post John K writes. Most of your posts are either to him or
about him. I see a connection that you don't.
