I was very surprised at the ability of the AC in the electric car I drove but I have no idea how the heat is. The Leaf has a heat pump so it may be fairly efficient. Electric resistance for heated seats would take a lot of power though. Tesla, maybe others, have a pre-heat system that warms the batteries so you get more power. |
