Default Need marinade and glaze ideas for a fried turkey

Weather permitting, I plan on frying my first turkey thursday. I've looked
around the internet somewhat but have yet to find anything out of the
ordinary. Don't really want to go cajun this time around either.

I guess my first question is do I need to marinade at all?
Ive got some good poultry/rib rub that im rather fond of so will that do
just as well?

I dont have a clue whether I should use injection instead of mariande or
both or what ingrediants even to inject.

Glaze. Maybe im just use to having a glazed ham. lol. Do I need to glaze
this meat at all? I'd like to find a sweet glaze of some type. Not
cranberry.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Cliff

I just use a dry rub.

Sounds good to me! I'd like to make this first one as easy as possible. lol
And I don't want to ruin a good turkey flavor by having too many other
flavors around.
Thanks.
