If you bothered to pay a few bucks extra for full coverage auto
insurance you'd probably have 24/7 Roadside Assistance and not have to
pay for a AAA membership. Of course, you're the guy who would rather
pay $4400 out of pocket for repairs.

Meanwhile, you ignore the fact that *coal* is what keeps your car
charged. I'll bet you were thrilled to see that gas burning tow-truck.

Got news for you, Jill. Your auto insurance also charges for that. Look
at the list of charges on your next or last auto insurance bill.

I have AAA. My annual renewal last October was $57.

It includes 3 trips a year from a tow truck for whatever reason.
Includes many other benefits too that I would rarely need. It's a better
deal than what my insurance company offered.

All insurance companies are a for-profit company.
A few people get more benefits than they paid for but most people pay
more in premiums that they get back.

You're sort of kind of on the right track. I mean it's good that you want to reduce pollution. But EV's are not as green as they are made out to be. They require steel, which uses coal in it's production. Aluminum production which damages the environment. Plastics which also screw things up. Power comes from fossil fuels. Electricity that is. Yes a small amount is generated by wind turbines, but they require all kinds of goodies to manufacture them. If you really want to reduce pollution,, then private sales of vehicles should be banned. On a global scale. That would be quite the mega screw up though. Thuggish that idea is. But maybe necessary.

And you pay for those 'extra' services even if you never use any...
and you pay in advance... nothing is free... no one gets a refund for
not being towed. We don't have Triple A, instead we have Amex, it
includes the same auto services as AAA. Amex offers services not
available with any other credit card, have a dispute with a vender and
Amex won't pay until the dispute is settled to the customers
satisfaction. Some venders won't accept Amex, those are the crooked
venders... shop elsewhere.

Some vendors don't accept Amex because their fees are considerably
higher than MC and Visa.
