Default USDA Choice bottom round roasts for $2.99/#

Nice for pounding into carne asada. I found a closer Save-a-Lot
store that seems to run better meat sales than most of them. Boy,
this warm weather has got me thinking about getting my scooter
fixed. Adding an extra 6-7 miles round trip wouldn't cost much at
all on a bike that is supposed to get 87 MPG. It really only gets
65-70 MPG.

Tops Market had roast beef on sale today, BOGO, got two top rounds. I
don't like bottom round, too much silver skin and gristle. I'm still
deciding if I'll use these top rounds as roasts or grind them for
burgers. One may become pot roast.

Bottom round does require work, but I'm going hammer it down for carne
asada. I'd never use any round for pot roast.
