Also signed up for V-Safe. It is something the CDC does to check if any
problems. I'll get a text and link every day for a week, then once a
week for 5 weeks, then once a quarter.

They as just a couple of questions. Do you feel pain?
Do you feel sick? Do you have a fever?. Take only a couple minutes and
it may help others in the long run.

Got mine at Publix. They really have their shit together and handle it
well. Today I got a call from the county and could have signed up
there but no longer needed.

We had our Moderna shots a week ago at Walmart. Our appointment for
the second shot is 3 weeks away from first shot.
I was totally impressed with the setup that Walmart had. Well planned
out, quick and efficient. Little timers set for 15 minutes for each
person that got the shot.
Email confirming that you got the shot and when your next appointment
is.

reaction to the second one produces a few nasty symptoms. Hoping that

I signed up for mine yesterday; I'm on the list. They'll let me know
when my appointment is and, according to the County website, they will
schedule my appointment for the second shot when I get the first one.

I'm kind of hoping the newest single-shot vaccine will be available by
the time they get around to me. Meanwhile, I'm still doing all the
recommended things - wearing a mask, frequent hand washing, etc. and
will continue to do so even after I get the vaccine. This is a tricky
virus.

Walmart said a lot of people showed up earlier in the day for their
appointments in the afternoon. So my afternoon appointment was no
waiting. Checking out with $34 worth of groceries took almost twice
as long.

I got the new shingles shot a year or two ago. It hurt like hell. It
was the first vaccination I had ever had that was painful, and it lasted
for a few days. I was dreading the second shot, but when I had the
second one it didn't hurt at all.

As for the Covid19 shot, I might be able to get it in 2-3 weeks. For
some reason, all native adults will get it along with the over 80 crowd.
Now the region is talking about also prioritizing agricultural migrant
workers. Heaven forbid they require them to be vaccinated a couple weeks
before they can come into the country.

higher mortality rates. That quick onset and severe effects would be a
little more obvious to those who attend super spreader events instead of

First one was a breeze. Second one knocked the socks off my DH and my
SIL, and I must say, that I noticed an unwell feeling very briefly,
myself.

My neighbor across the alley got her second injection a few weeks ago. She
works in the healthcare field and had remarked to one of the doctors in her
department what a terrible weekend she had. She said she was sick about
36 hours. He told her that was really a good sign that she was healthy and

Got mine today also. It was the first of 2 Moderna and I got it at the
V.A.. The 2nd one is already scheduled for April 6th, same time same
place. The LPN was a guy. Fortunately he didn't have any chichis as
as I could see!

I'm hoping that when everybody at work is vaccinated, they stop making
us wear a mask every time we leave our cube. It seems pointless: the
guy in the cube next door and I breathe the same air all day long* and
then we have to put on a mask to go to the can.

*At least he's not actually there all day. Some days he works from home
and when he's in, he's often in the computer lab, poking some defenseless
computer with a meter of some sort.

So if I walk past 50 people a day and lick their faces, my chances
of getting Covid-19 virus are only .0065%.

Give credit where credit is due. It's the old president that got it
kickstarted. He said vaccines before the end of the year and the CDC
said not until at least April.

Then they rushed the testing, etc and it came out early. Naturally,

crap and they all still do. "Assembly of God" church and each Sunday,

stands up and starts speaking in tongue. Everyone sits there in silence
and listens to gibberish. This was the "Holy Ghost" talking to us using
her body.

Finally she would finish in tears and sit down. Everyone remained

ladies) would stand up with the "gift of interpretation" and she would
tell us what was just said in plain English.

Then the sermon would continue.

That freaked me out and I called BS. This was like a weird cult

We think alike, Jill. (at least on this). I'll wait until the crowds die
down and am hoping for the one shot (Johnson and Johnson) one by then.

I don't mind the mask when I go to a store and for years I've done the
don't touch your face until you wash your hands thing. I've never had a
flu shot and this simple practice works well. It's just common sense.

Did you see on the news the other day.... a fire built in a metal can
and everyone tossing their masks into it as a symbolic "hell with these
masks" thing. Those idiots.

The companies would most certainly not have started production prior to
approval. That is their normal M.O., as production is very expensive.
Trump cut through that. Give him credit.

What you say is true that Trump got it kick started. Unfortunately, his
distribution system sucked and people were not getting it as fast as
they should.

The General that did the 60 Minutes segment was impressive but in real
time, it failed. Present administration was a big help to get J & J and
Merck to work together too.

Unfortunately we nurses can't see every nerve pain receptor in your skin, but every once in a while we get lucky! I have even given blood with a 16GA pipe-like needle and the nurse missed every pain receptor.

And breasts or not rarely plays into it! ;-)
