Wait! You forgot to add that trip to the pokey for that statement you were stupid
enough to make online about a certain garage and a certain automatic weapon.
Then your adventure of having your roof repaired; always an exciting touch to your
enviable life. (eye roll)

I noticed that too. Maybe...but I doubt he'll get unemployment benefits
from such a short time job. It only lasted a few days.

I thought about mentioning that, but I'm sure the Missouri Department of
Labor and Industrial Relations will tell him about it.

Each State is different but unemployment insurance is generally for
those who were laid off, not for those who were fired for cause.

As far as I can tell, Kuthe wasn't fired for cause. Or fired at all (unless
there's stuff he's not telling us). He's a gig worker who currently doesn't
have a gig.

Sounded like the state determined that if the benefits recipient could
get by with Kuthe's help, he didn't need help at all, and the benefits
were lost.

I don't know how things are down there, but around here you have to
work a certain number of weeks before you qualify for unemployment
benefits. It used to be something like 12 weeks. I am not sure of his
status. He is working for an agency so he could be considered to be an
independent contractor. As it stands now, it would probably take him as
much time to complete the forms as he spent working in the last 4 months.

John often shares way too much about his job opportunities and then way
too little of the facts, so we can only speculate. Based on his bizarre
comments we jump to the conclusion that the clients realized he was as
crazy as we think he is.

I was fired from Venture Stores for cause in 1979 and suspended for 9 weeks before receiving my paltry $72/week before getting my job at Danny Donuts in 1980 which I worked 6 nights a week for almost 10 years!

The 1980's were my time to make the DONUTS! :-)

https://www.mo.gov/work/unemployment/

To be eligible for unemployment benefit payments, you must:

Lose your job through no fault of your own OR quit for good cause
related to the work or the employer.
Make at least $2,250€”at least $1,500 during one of the calendar
quarters, and at least $750 during the remainder of the base period€”from
an insured employer during your base period. (See chart below).
AND your total base period wages must be at least 1.5 times your highest
quarter wages.
OR you must make at least 1.5 times the Taxable Wage Base during two of
the four base period quarters.

You can't get unemployment working only 8 days in the last 4 years.
You genberally have to put in at least 5 consecutive months to get
even a pittance.

CLAIM DENIED!

You stand a better chance of having you claim approved if you file
for unemployment based on the fact that the Covid-19 Pandemic
resulted in your layoff and significantly reduced the demand for
nurses worldwide.

You'e extremely gullible, I don't believe a word he says.
WTF is a gig worker... can't apply to Kootchie... he's never worked,
his entire life he's never been gainfully employed. There's something
very wrong with you... there's a LOT wrong with you... you've
absolutely zero common sense. You want to believe all the usenet
creeps, I don't believe any of them. They're all ascared to post a
picture of themselves or of where they live... very few post their
real name.

Read a newspaper or something. The term "gig worker" has been
in the news for the better part of a decade (or more).

Not to mention, many states have been overwhelmed by legit unemployment
compensation claims from people who lost long-term jobs due to Covid.

Even setting aside that particular term, he's a temp worker who gets
short-term jobs through an agency.

I "think" that Christine Dabney was in that category.

I looked it up, none of the definitions apply to Kootchie, (good for
nothing/useless). The dead giveaway is that Kootchie is not a worker,
never was, never will be.

Many years ago I did that too, engineering companies hired people to
work for them at various trades. That's how I came to work at
Lockheed on the SST. Lockheed and Boeing were after the contract but
in the end France got the 'gig'. At that time that employment was not
called gigs, was refered to as jobshoppers. We were paid nearly three
times Lockheed's normal rate but with no benefits. I remember my
first take home pay for 40 hours was a check for $444... good money
for 1965... and I opted for the graveyard shift, midnight to 6 AM but
was paid for 8 hours... in fact we stopped work at 5:30 and spent a
half hour cleaning the machines and sweeping the shop floors.

You're close, Leo. The difference is hers were long-term (IIRC 6 months
at least) assignments. She specializes in Neonatal Care in a
*hospital* setting. Some of those assignments sent her all over the
country. I met Christine years ago when I still lived in west
Tennessee. She was driving from California to Virginia for a long-term
assignment. I'm pretty sure her contract included a housing allowance
and per-diem for travel expenses. Her car was packed full of cookbooks
and cookware.

Terminology changes over the years, Sheldon. Kuthe is only getting
short-term gigs, no matter what you call it.

Continuing a pretty much straight-line growth that started after
the 2009 recession.

Trump had nothing to do with it.

But Trump hates blacks. If his policies happened to help them, then
surely it wasn't intentional.

LOL. So, anything negative was caused by Trump. Anything positive
during his Presidency was obviously despite Trump. Do I understand you
correctly? LOL.......

Biden has been proven to be bigoted (if not actually racist) against
blacks in particular, and it's easy to prove that. Whereas with Trump,
well, lets see some supporting evidence to back up your retarded
argument.............

Fat Tony aka "Pamela" has none...

President Trump's economic policies did more to lift up low - income minorities than any post - war POTUS. That is an easily verifiable fact...and that is why a larger percentage of minorities voted for him in 2020 than in 2016. Not all minorities like being on the dem "plantation"...

Has nought to do with Obummer's
failed socio - economic policies...

It still wasn't enough to get Trump re-elected.

I liked some of his policies but the man himself was too incompetent
and self-serving to carry on as president.

There was also interference from Russia and Iran that, thank God, wasn't enough to get him re-elected. Of course, Russia was always going to get involved with our elections again since they got spectacular results in 2016. You can expect total Russian infiltration in our social media from now on.

Yep. The economy, in particular. Presidents just don't have that much
control over it. It's like pushing on a string.
