The fleas living on the dog constantly fight over the different parts that they "own" and flea borders change constantly. Who cares about the fleas. It's still just a dog. |

Naturally you know very well where Belgium is as you grew up right next to it. Relatively speaking, ALL of Europe is in the east from the US. Given a blank map of Europe test, you would do better than me. |

Naturally, you know a lot about Belgium. I was just being honest with what I (didn't) know. Knew it was in Europe but nothing else about it. I looked on my map and see where it is now. I've learned something. Unless I google, I still know nothing about Belgium...their history and whatever. I was never taught that in school. Joan googles it first, then laughs about what I didn't know. Oh well Everyone is an expert these days on the internet. |

Get some perspective. Saying Belgium is in eastern Europe is like saying North Dakota is in the eastern United States. Just like She Who Must Not Be Named, you revel in your ignorance. I don't need to Google Belgium. Unlike you, I'm interested in things outside of the town where I live. Actually, you don't seem much interested in things besides the beach. Carol keeps having to inform you of points of interest in your city. Cindy Hamilton |

I'm pretty good with Canadian provinces, but not with Australian states/territories. And I'm nearly hopeless with anything since about 1975. I love maps and atlases, always excelled at geography. I can still name all 15 constituent Soviet republics and their capitals...all districts of the city of Berlin...I have old Czech, East German and Soviet world atlases, several globes... Collected airline timetables for many years, specifically " exotic " East Bloc items...Aeroflot, Air Koryo, Cubana, Interflug... I like to read old train timetables, too... Gary may be "ignorant" about geography, but very knowledgeable about things I or others may be "ignorant" of... -- Best Greg |

Many Euros don't even have decent plumbing... many still use squat toilets or slop jars and "bathe" via cold - water sponge baths...most have tiny fridges, maybe 1.5 square feet... in Europe a/c is still a very rare luxury.... food is insanely expensive, too... not to mention fuel... The poorest ghetto Americans live FAR better materially than the average West European... FACT...!!! -- Best Greg |
