Then there is the flip side. The farm stands around here don't take anything but cash. Even before the pandemic they didn't offer any other way to pay. The virus didn't suddenly give them card readers and change the way they do business. Big surprise... cash gets handled by a lot of people. That's *always* been true. No need to get all excited about it now. Wash your hands frequently and do try to avoid using those dollar bills like kleenex. ![]() Jill |

I didn't earn enough to have to file taxes in 2019 but I was able to fill out a "non-filer" 1040 form. The IRS accepted it and they direct deposited all three stimulus checks. <shrug> Jill |

The atm I used still charged 25 cents per transaction and had a terrible user interface. |

Lots of folks who can afford the facilities, no kids added to the school systems and few police needs. |
