Perhaps you can extend it because of the Holiday. I'm not sure about
John's work schedule. Plus, you know, agape & all that.

Acting as John's lawyer, I say he probably did not realize that.

As far as I'm concerned, Ed is a major component of the glue that holds
the whole mess of RFC together. But if he cannot help you, I'm seriously
offering my help to you Steve. I don't know what that might be, but you
seem creative enough to maybe suggest something.

I am curious though to know what the original purchaser had planned if
Steve had not noticed that someone had snapped up the domain. Presumably
he/she would need to post something here or communicate with a regular.

Beware. John might send a knee-jerk post before he gets this far in your
missive.

On behalf of all of respectable people here (possibly including myself),
Thanks for the effort. I hope it is enough for John to realize that
despite all our kidding he has to endure, when it comes down to the
crunch, there are people here willing to take risks to help him,
financial & otherwise.

John: It should be obvious that whoever bought the domain did it to
prevent someone else from doing so just to spite you. Even if you
honestly believe your house needed a roof more expensive than your house,
Steve went out of his way to let you know that the honest consensus
opinion of several people was that you were making a big mistake.

If you don't accept Steve at his word, I cannot see why he nor anyone
else should try to help you out with anything.
