The reply of Jesus when Satan offered him all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would worship him. Jesus spoke these words on another occasion. He told his disciples that he would have to be killed and then raised from the dead, and Peter objected that this should not happen. Jesus saw Peter as a tempter, trying to talk him out of doing what he was put on Earth to do. He then spoke the same words, Get thee behind me, Satan, to Peter... ;-P -- Best Greg |

Before we bolt it in, we will both sit in the tub and try getting up and see which seems best. It's the one folks joked about naked pole dancing (grin). The ceiling is plywood, stained to match the wood plank walls. Looks spiffier than it sounds, if a bit dark becuse it's a darker wood stain. |

I was off work for 2 months but it was tender for months after. Eight years later I broke a rib or two it it was tender for close to a year. I had just recovered from that when I had heart surgery and they ripped my sternum open. That took about 4 months to heal but was sore for years. Here I am 10 years later and it is sometimes very tender. |

I was very lucky no broken > bones, just cuts and bruises. How do you get so many cuts and bruises falling in a hallway, carpeted or not, that it takes 3 weeks inpatient to recover, when you're so active otherwise? Did the ceiling collapse, too? And then the hallway collapsed into the basement? And then a meteor hit right on top of all that? You're so fit that you could have at least crawled to a phone in the bedroom or living room in 4 days. Aron Ralston cut his ****ing arm off after only 4.5 days. And you say food or drink wasn't even on your mind any of that time? > I'm calling bullshit. The truth shall set your free, Sheldon! > I've no idea how long I was lying in a pool of > blood. It's hard to get into, especially if I'm stiff from kneeling in the garden or similar. I hated it when my husband bought it, and I hate it even more now that I'm driving him around in it half the time. I'd press him to ride in my car, but he finds his a much smoother ride and hence more comfortable. I've been threatening to trade my car in on a Buick. Cindy Hamilton |

It is a nice comfortable car to sit in, but I have a hell of a time getting in and out. I am 6 ft. tall and long waisted with short legs. I can the lower half of me in and seated, but then I have to get my head in, and it is a hell of as struggle. I found the best way is to sit on the rocker panel, get my head in and then slide up to the seat and sing my legs in. To get out I have to swivel, get my legs out, slide down and then stand up. |

Such a cute car. So I bought her one for Christmas the next year. A 2" Mazda Miata.... "Matchbox" series toy car. ;-D I put it in her Christmas stocking. LOL (true story too) |

Others might think you are being disrespectful but that's their problem. **** em. As I've explained to many, whenever I've attended a funeral, that's my lasting memory of the person and it's not good. By skipping a funeral, my lasting memory of them is talking to them when they were alive. |

When we put David's ashes in the sea, the sun was setting and everyone there voiced a reminiscence they felt was their connection with him and then it got round to Sister K. She's a Sister of Charity but an excellent doctor who was chief of medicine for awhile at the kids hospital, which is where David worked for her as her administrator. She announced she knew we were a family of atheists but that she reserved the right as a nun to say a prayer for him. She said a short prayer then remarked to us, I can just imagine how ****ed off he is about that!! We all knew he would have been highly amused. |
