Nothing you ever recommend will be considered "delicious" in my house,
especially not when you start sprinkling stuff with red wine.

Sounds like your master has forbidden you to eat them.

Better throw that stuff away.

Dried cranberries typically have sugar added. If they taste at all sweet,
there's added sugar.

Check the ingredients list some time. I assume you're not buying brand-name
Craisins, but those are about 30% (by weight) added sugar.

and...........ADDED SUGAR. Look it up, stupid.

"The added sugar can be a drawback for this product. Essentially, the
sugar is added to improve texture and water content, and to reduce
tartness.[10] Dried cranberries contain the same nutrients as fresh
cranberries (notably dietary fiber and antioxidants). However,
commercial drying processes substantially reduce the vitamin A and
vitamin C content. The nutrient density is also reduced if sugar is
added" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dried_cranberry

"Raw cranberries (fresh or frozen) are high in nutritional value and
fiber while being low in carbohydrates and calories. Dried cranberries
(often known as "Craisins," a brand name), however, can be quite
different. Since cranberries are so tart, most dried versions have
added sugar. Even if they are unsweetened, dried cranberries are
higher in carbs, calories, and sugar than raw berries are"
