Default OT: Got my new Covid driver's license in the mail today.

My DL expires in June this year and this time an eye test was required.
Because of the virus concerns, they offered a 2-year extension for $8.00.

So I opted for that. Works well as I won't be driving at all for at
least a few months anyway.

I got a Covid-19 vaccine card with my shots. My guess is that it'll be an important document in the future. The size of the card makes it awkward to carry around. A Covid driver's license sounds like a great idea. Too bad it's just an extended license.

My guess is that they are so easily forged, they're useless now and in the future.

I got a plain old driver's license a couple of months ago (by applying at
the DMV web site in the normal way), since I wasn't due for an eye test.

In three years I'll have to take the eye test.
