Default Friday lunch

I had some leftover Tandoori chicken and raita from last night. I heated
the chicken in the microwave and sliced it. I warmed up a pita on a
hot fry pan, put the chicken and raita on it along with some chopped
tomato and onion and wrapped it up like a shwarma. Delicious.

Nice. That's how I usually do leftover tandoori chicken.

Funny, we were talking about tandoori this morning.

Great stuff. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as well as it usually
does. We had intended to do it in the gas BBQ, get it cranked up nice
and high and get a good sear on it, but it got too damp and cold for us
to want to stand out there and keep an eye on it. We did it in the oven.
When time came to turn it there was a lot of liquid in the pan. Next
time I will consider putting it on a rack and broiling it.

Still tasty, but it could have been better.

$.96 Main Street Kitchen Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta with Broccoli.

A little 1/2 pat of butter and some extra parmesan-romano blend
improves it greatly.

Grilled chicken that is diced and put on steamed tortillas is great.
