I think that I´ve eaten arctic char once or twice. I´ve eaten a hell of a
lot of brook trout. They're first cousins.
Brookies seldom reach ten inches around here, so they´re mostly pan
fried...I´m sorry, sautéed.
I heard of a fourteen inch brookie from around here once.
They grow way, way bigger where you live.

Our kitchen has been nearly completely dismantled for renovation
for several days (except for the sink), so we had a simple supper of
grilled chicken, salad, and bread.

The adjacent enclosed porch has the washer and dryer on it, so
we hooked up a Y connection to the hot line and put the dishwasher
out there. At least I don't have to wash dishes in the bathroom sink.

It is indeed a variation of trout, better than rainbow or brook trout,
on a par with steelhead.
