One can hope! Honestly, I don't care if anyone eats meat or not, other than if they ask me for a recipe that could be either way (Take roasted vegetable cream soup). I know with that one they are ok with milk but need to know if they are ok with chicken stock. https://www.amazon.com/photos/shared...EvoQanEuZXlj7l That one can go either way. Requires heavy cream and no, 'almond milk' ain't gonna cut it. |

Vegetarian don't lie. I was a vegetarian today from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Had a salad for lunch, so I was a vegan for a time. I'll be vegetarian again until breakfast. |

I was a vegetarian yesterday. Last night's supper was a quinoa and black beans with chili poweder and cilantro and a little bit of feta. I reverted to an omnivorism at lunch with a chicken salad sandwich, and shrimp and pasta for supper. |

I have not had any meat for 3 days but that's only because we got KFC 4 days ago on the way back from a medical appointment for Don. I have 1.75lbs of Cod defrosting from last Saturday and will cook that tomorrow. Since our daughter left for the Navy, seafood is probably close to 60% of what we eat when it comes to meats. No special virtue in it. Just an age shift and we both like seafood a lot. No plan to reduce pork, pork sausage, beef or chicken. Smile, Charlotte sent us a text and she just encountered a food truck in Coronado (San Diego). Zs buddies Sushi in San Diego. I haven't googled for it yet but nice red food truck. She says she got a tuna salmon bowl and Takoyaki (takoyaki I think would be an octopus noodle bowl and not sure on the other). She said the 'sushi' were a mind boggleing big burrito sized affair. |

If she was an ugly chicken, I´d propose buying a pellet gun, dispatching and eating her. Now I suggest you say mahalo to her for the free eggs. |

Which one wins? I'm not sure what you mean. Sometimes, the hens don't have access to their normal laying spot. The rooster then finds them an alternative spot and actually assumes the laying position to explain to the hen that this is where she can lay. It's very funny to watch. -- The real Dr. Bruce posts with uni-berlin.de - individual.net |

That you would wallow in such fetid, toxic masculinity is a terrible indictment on the patriarchy. YES, we get your point that women are bimbos and need a male to tell them what to do. Would you like your pipe and slippers now, sir? |

I'm neither. One thing I learned early in adult life is *always* make sure you have food in your home. There are a lot of things you can do without in life (copper gutters come to mind) but food isn't one of them. Common sense, which he doesn't appear to have. There was a time when I didn't have much in the way of food in the pantry/fridge. That would have been when I was 21. Life lessons learned, more money earned... but never run out of food. Aside from all that, his "emergency food" included a pre-cooked "grilled" chicken breast. He's not vegetarian anymore. (IMHO, he never was). He dumped BBQ sauce on top of it over brown rice. Does not sound YUM to me. I sure as heck wouldn't turn to something like that in case of "emergency". Jill |

That and they had experienced folks not providing their share so now used a cabinet portion for each person and no one else would touch it. In the fridge, I had a portion of a shelf too. A few things were communal and we all shared in replacing them but it was simple stuff like salt, milk, flour. Debra said 'always have peanut butter and crackers if nothing else' and I always have since! It may sound a little anal but it worked well. We'd take turns cooking dinner for each other at times (my first effort was not up to their skill level yet having come from a non-cook home so got to wash dishes for a few months). I'd pay rent, 'look at bills', then get food based on what was reasonable (based on look at bills) and sales, then pay bills. |
