I worked with a man who was about 50 who slipped, fell and hit his head on his way into the office. He said he was fine, went on to work. The next morning his wife said he was completely disoriented. He was rushed to the hospital. Turns out the "minor" head injury in the fall caused a subdural hemotoma. He died. Jill |

I loathe those chiropracters, they are worse than quackery. Just watching another friend who has been sucked into the system deteriorating. I was frank and said to her could she not see that it is in the chiropracters interests to make sure she keeps going back, if she was cured, she is a loss!! At least she is thinking about it now. Marketplace did an item on them about 3 or 4 years ago, showed a woman in her 30s, the chiropracter had done one of those 'alignments' on her and apparently it squeezed the carotid (sp ?) artery so badly that she instantly had a major stroke and would never walk again. |
