OT: My Plastic Dinosaur
When my wife was a little girl, she was terrified of getting shots at the
doctor's office. As a reward for her cooperation, her parents would buy her a treat afterwards, and more than once it was a plastic dinosaur. So when either of us has to do some scary or unpleasant medical thing, we have a practice that the person gets some special something. After my surgery, this was my "plastic dinosaur." https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/Pr...g-Fan/p/PMF01B If you buy a misting fan, your life will be happier. I have an AC one, but this is portable. For dinner tonight, I cut up a chicken and am baking the torso from which I've removed the pelvis (discarded) and the wings, legs and things, which I marinated in hot pepper, paprika, salt MSG and ING. The marinated parts are getting fried. I'm making mashed potatoes with a little carrot added. The gravy is homemade chicken stock, a little BTB, corn starch, summer savory, cayenne, paprika and white pepper. --Bryan |
