Is anything supposed to be special about Salsalito turkey that isn't regular turkey?

Just the seasoning
https://boarshead.com/products/detai...-turkey-breast

Inspired by the rich food culture of the American Southwest, Boars Head
Bold Salsalito Turkey Breast is an enchantment of flavors. Coated with a
spicy salsa of jalapeño peppers, onions, sundried tomatoes and cilantro,
each slice delivers southwestern flair.

They can't trademark Sausalito. They can trademark Salsalito.

Sure they can. There's are thousands of brands named after a city
(or town, or state, or area). Smithfield, for example. But it can
be tricky though. You generally don't have exclusive rights, only
within your business line. There are several Smithfield trademarks
registered (and two of them are in the food business - one sells
cheese, one sells pork and other meats)l.

But silicon valley lawyers might be a little different to tangle with when defending one of their towns than the Smithfield crowd. Just sayin'
