I wear them all day, every day. Older pairs are reused for yard work, painting, etc. Cindy Hamilton |

That's way too much to pay for "walking shoes." Gary is a proven CHEAPSKATE, won't eat fast food trash without a coupon! I can't speak for New Balance, can't say I've ever seen them... but these are by far the best walking/working shoe, well worth the price... about the only shoe I wear for all occassions... I wear them all day every day for more than 30 years, can't wear them out. I had to get new laces but found the Miscly laces from Amazon have lasted for some five years and show no wear... they sent me three pair and I'm still on the first pair.... and I don't baby my Bean Boots or Miscly laces, I slog through mucky mud nearly every day. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/1906...N2&csp=a&pos=7 https://www.amazon.com/Round-Shoelac... 777705&sr=8-6 |

Actually, what would make sense is not to mow the lawn when it's wet while dragging an electric cord around behind him. He bought three pair of these shoes. One for working in the yard. Unlike most people, who would use the old still sturdy shoes for outdoor work, he's crowing about new shoes. He loves to tell everyone how much money he spends. Jill |
