I used to buy one specific pair of shoes often. Reebok (sp?) CL-1000.
They got 4 lives here.

New pair was running shoes for 6-8 months.
2nd life became wear everywhere shoes. To the store, etc.
3rd life, they became work shoes
4th life was ragged crabbing shoes.
