Cindy... Bread gets moldy within 4 days....

Put in refridgerator for up to 2 weeks, if that's better for you than
freezing. It's all fine for toast.

I've done this, trouble is, if your fridge has any smells in it, it can
make the bread less pleasant. Make sure to keep an open box of baking
soda in your fridge.

Jesus Christ, Gary. How bored do you have to be to dredge up
these old posts?

It's like you're Rainman or something.

Refrigerated bread can taste different from frozen or room temperature bread, too.

Putting a box of baking soda in your refrigerator or freezer is a marketing
ploy. It does n.o.t.h.i.n.g. to absorb odors. If you have any stinky items in
your chill chest the best thing to absorb those offensive odors is charcoal.
Better yet, seal/wrap tightly any items that seem to produce a smell.

been felling depressed.

Weird.

I got some brioche rolls that have been hanging around for a couple of weeks. Thanks, modern day preservatives! I'll have to try eating one to celebrate - if it ain't gone bad yet. The bakery factory that serviced these islands for 170 years closed last month. This means that most of the bread sold in stores are shipped in frozen from the mainland. We'll all be eating frozen bread on this rock. I could make some but I prefer factory made.

I don't understand the point of it, either.

Count me in, too. Especially after he claims he downloads all the comments
and reads them all at once. It's like he's taken a page out of the John Kuthe
playbook with LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK HOW MANY POSTS I CAN
MAKE.

Having slept on it, I've decided that these six posts are high art.
The viewer is left to provide context and meaning for himself.

6 old posts from my old computer (no longer online) that I meant to
respond to months ago. No worries, just cleaning house.

It actually turned into an accidental successful troll though. You
complained as did Joan and Jill. (Gary's holy trinity of biddies)

And for that reason, I'm glad I posted them.
