I just got done having sex, was frying on acid, and was making my
first marriage proposal *just* when the space shuttle blew up on
live TV.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfnvFnzs91s

She said, "Oh No!!!". And I left it at that ambiguous answer for
another 3 years. But we *did* get married.

In severe hindsight, making the first of two marriage proposals to
the same person at the same moment the space shuttle blew up on TV
in front of us.... well, duh. It was HUGE disaster in itself. I've
hinted at some of the really bad parts here before.

But congratulations to you! Wait, you were married when I was 13?
Now you make me feel young. Thank you! :-)

And if I find a lady who's 51, I wouldn't mind. Age means nothing to me.

But, apparently, appearance means quite a bit to you.

When we moved to the SF bay area, we found out that my girl was pregnant. Ha ha, that's so funny. It was a big problem since we had no jobs or much money. My solution was brilliantly simple - get hitched. Luckily, we could do it straight away in the next state of Nevada. That was like my best plan ever. That's per personal preference. I don't like the look of makeup on
women; the more plain the better. To each his own.

IMHO, men who care only about a woman looking "dolled up" are
superficial and not worthy of my time.
