I can imagine calling people who use violence to push their opinion
down other people's throats, fascists. The extreme left and the right
can both do that.

If I want to ban gas/petrol cars starting tomorrow, if I want
government organisations to only hire non whites for the next 10
years, if I want compulsory veganism and the end of all animal
husbandry (good idea!), if I want at least 2 transgender government
ministers, then I could be called extreme left. But all of that has
nothing to do with communism.

I'd prefer we talk about food a lot more. The only even remotely interesting
cooking I did today was to saute some asparagus tips in butter, then do a
reduction of cream, and a second reduction of cream in the asparagus pan,
while the angel hair boiled. Just before adding the pasta I added a little
grated Parmesan with a little more cream, and after plating I sprinkled on a
little white pepper.

This was for my wife's lunch, as I don't like asparagus.

Yesterday evening I made a really decent tomatillo salsa. I slightly pan
blackened the tomatillos and the serranos that had been thoroughly
deveined, along with some garlic cloves. Then I boiled all that in just
enough water to cover, then scooped them out into the blender, and added
salt. As it turned out, a bit too much salt. One of those, "My hand slipped,"
things. One more serrano and a little less salt, and I would have just about
nailed it.

I pan seared steak, and cut the corn off two ears, and sauteed the corn with
another chopped serrano, and I chopped up some red bell pepper to add as
well.
