Default Sandwich for lunch

Sliced home-smoked turkey breast.
Toasted artisinal wheat and cheese bread (something my mother-in-law
brought for Thanksgiving)
Sweet pickled jalapeno slices*
Mayo
Black pepper

It was world class, and I just ate it.

*Get a jar of ordinary pickled jalapenos. Drain all the liquid.
Spoon in sugar in about the same amount as the liquid you drained off.
Replace the cap. Invert once or twice a day for about five days.
Rerfrigerate after the sugar has drawn off the residual liquid from
the peppers and made its own juice.

Just imagine how much you could have sold that sandwich for on eBay.

Best regards,

Well, yeah, if it looked like a really grainy picture of Myrna Loy and
didn't mold.

I'm leaning towards a torch, in the manner of creme brulee. And just
a simple silhouette of a smoker pit.
