Your reference to The Beast at King's Island reminded me of when we
lived not too far away and took the family there. I hate roller
coasters and happily watched the DH and our teenagers climb aboard.
The DH said that, after having ascended to the first scary peak, he'd
have written a check for $1,000 if someone would have let him off.

OB food: the DH is doing roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for
Christmas Day dinner, while I'll do all the shopping, appetizers,
sides, dessert and post-prandial espresso, but he's telling everyone
that he's doing "the cooking" this year :-)
