If it's steel, you can use oven cleaner on it. If it's aluminum, do not use oven cleaner cuz it will eat aluminum. Or you can try brushing it with Dawn dishwashing liquid, thinned with a little water, and let it soak for a while before you attack it with a wet nylon scrubbie. Bob |

Let some dishwasher detergent sit on the crud for a while and then
sponge it off. Make sure it is detergent for the dishwasher. Tara |

Work out the stains with a nylon scrubbie and some Softscrub. Tilt the crock potso any water runs out. I've had the same happen to me. Steve |

I used the vegetable steamer to steam the burned-on mess in the bottom and then scrubbed it with Dawn and the nylon scrubber until FINALLY it came clean! Thanks again!! |
