Default Chicken

Tried to submit this once and it didn't go through. So excuse the 2nd post
if indeed it goes through. I left some chicken breasts on the counter for
about 12 hours. Would they still be ok to eat???

No. And besides, chicken breasts don't cost much. Even if they were
O.K., you'd take a risk and not benefit much. Better to go out and buy
more. They're available everywhere.

It went through.

Are you worried about the cost of the chicken? If not, dump them. If
you are, consider the cost of an emergency room visit to treat the dry
heaves and cramping and assorted unpleasantries of food-borne illness.

Well if they were frozen solid and you kept your house no warmer than 40
degrees F. then they'd probably still be okay. Otherwise I'd throw them out.

I work in a meat department of a grocery store...do not eat them...meat only
has a 2 hour window period of being left out..same goes for cooked
meat..especially poultry
