Looking for a good pizza dip recipe. I have seen some that have cream
cheese and other pizza dip recipes that do not.

Pizza Dip

1 8 ounce package cream cheese, room temp.
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2-1 tsp. oregano (to taste)
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup chopped pepperoni
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
About 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup pizza sauce

Beat the cream cheese and sour cream until mixed then add the seasonings,
blending well. Spread in a oven proof baking dish and top with the reserved
pepperoni, green onions,green pepper and the sauce. Bake 350º for 10 minutes
then sprinkle the cheese over the top and bake until the cheese melts, Serve
with bread sticks or crackers.
You can also use any topping that you like -cooked sausage, sauted mushrooms

A lot of places now offer a tiny tub of garlic butter to dip pizza in.
Breadsticks I can see, but pizza?

That's for dipping the crust (we call them "pizza bones") If the crust
is good, it doesn't need the garlic butter, but I never pass up garlic
butter...

Wheat Thins® crackers

Beat cream cheese and Italian seasoning until well blended. Spread onto bottom

We're going to a party today and I was asked to bring some sort of dip=20
type of appetizer. I was drawing a blank as some folks are=20
vegetarians and others not. So this morning I made two of these, one=20
with pepperoni on top and one without. (I added fresh chopped parsley=20
for color on top. You know, the red and green thang)

I combined a small amount of everything on a spoon and tasted it. Even=20
cold it was very tasty. It's gotta be better after I heat it up.=20

We're going to a party today and I was asked to bring some sort of dip
type of appetizer. I was drawing a blank as some folks are
vegetarians and others not. So this morning I made two of these, one
with pepperoni on top and one without. (I added fresh chopped parsley
for color on top. You know, the red and green thang)

I combined a small amount of everything on a spoon and tasted it. Even
cold it was very tasty. It's gotta be better after I heat it up.
Thanks, I think this will be a "hit".
