I have to say I find it amazing you are charging 2.50 for a basic dough
recipe. There are hundreds if not THOUSANDS of recipes "handed down through
the
generations" posted on the internet for farking free.

If you want to sell a recipe you need to give people a reason to buy it.

Number one, you should post at least one for people to see if it is at all
unique. Then they might be interested in purchasing one.

Secondly you should feature testimonials or at least some kind of enticing
descriptions of the recipes on the recipe purchasing page itself.

Think a person shouldn't say anything if they don't have anything nice to
say? YOU posted your ad here.
