Default Need help selecting an inexpensive one-cup coffee maker.

I worry about using plastic; the hot coffee on the plastic may cause
plasticization poison . Aluminum has it dangers also, according to
the alzheimers association.

And I LOVE that cup of ONE coffee in the morning. Help anybody? I can
spend about $25.00. They're out there, I'm just afraid to use them.
Convince me it's OK to use plastic or aluminum and I'm ready for my
caffeine jump!
ThanX

So get a glass French press.
The aluminum/Alzheimers thing is an urban myth.

Thanks, Dan..you're a genius. Is the one that you had in mind , safe?
I've lived 77 years in excellent health, just by being fearful of of,
''good living through chemistry.'
The best to you and your new coffee maker!
